| In 1996, 52 mm was a new company, and its founding members were beginning new lives in New York City. FFOG is a visual record of this period. This is not a story about water smouldering the fire that consumed all the grocery stores and cheap restaurants. It is about the awkwardness of new beginning, protective like dead air and silence. Like the silence before a squatter gets hit by food from a passing van. |
