|
| Framestore CFC is the largest digital visual effects company in Europe. Based in London, it was formed in 2001 by a merger between the Computer Film Company and Framestore, which had previously been separate parts of the Framestore Group of companies. The company works across several different areas of the media: feature films, commercials, music videos, DVD design/authoring and television programmes. In 2004 the company set up an office in New York's SoHo district to serve the US advertising market. The company has worked on over 150 films and in 2008 won their first Oscar for "best VFX in a feature film" for the picture The Golden Compass, they also won a BAFTA the same year for the same film. |
