| The Comas were formed in Chapel Hill, NC by Andy Herod in March 1998. Through four albums, they have evolved into a dynamic rock band. After releasing two solid albums, Wave to Make Friends in 1999 and A Def Needle in Tomorrow in 2000, The Comas struck publicity gold after Herod's much-publicized break up with actress, Michelle Williams and wrote the break up album Conductor. Rolling Stone called Conductor one of the 'best records you didn't hear' of 2004 and Spin Magazine featured them as a 'band to watch.' Since the release of Conductor, Herod moved the band to New York City and switched from Yep Roc Records to Vagrant Records. |
